So All Of My Hair Is Gone.
Hey, guys, it’s been a while since I have written here, so there are a few things to update y’all on. College updates, Hair updates, life updates, and more we are in for a ride here. A small ride but a ride none the less.
A few weeks ago I finished my college reading class. I really struggled in that class, it really was a hard class it was just so much. This was only an 8week class so we were fitting a whole semester's worth of content in only 8 weeks, this is why I struggled with it so much. We usually learned a new chapter each class session. Each chapter usually had 3-4 sections and each section had 3-4 assignments. This was a lot of information to retain in short periods of time. Overall I feel like I did pretty well, there were definitely people who struggled way more than I did. However I don’t feel like this is an effective way to learn or teach, most of us got very little if anything out of the class. Personally I think the school (All Schools) should get away from this type of program. I ended up getting a “C” in the class and probably would have gotten a “B”, but I didn’t have time to complete the last chapter and my teacher never put in the grade for the chapter before that. Anyhow lesson learned don’t take anymore 8-week classes.
I am currently also taking a college writing class. I was doing really well in this class, most certainly better than I thought I would do. I have a high B right now, but the end of the semester is approaching and I’m starting to get bored, and way less focused than I should be. I have a paper due soon, that I haven’t even begun yet. It’s not even that complicated of a paper, I just can’t bring myself to put in the effort to do it, hopefully, I will gain some motivation this weekend and get it done.
Today I had my first nursing program meeting, where I got information on the process of getting in and the qualifications. I’m really glad I went to this, it was really helpful. I also got to see the skills lab with the manikins which were really nifty, it was nice to see where I will one day be learning.
Back in September I got all of my hair cut off. I had a lot of my own personal reasons for doing this. I mostly did it to support a friend of mine who is unable to grow her hair out long. There really isn’t much of a story here other then it is something that I have wanted to do for quite some time now, and I finally had the means to do it.

Today we made it official, and I finally get to travel to Seattle this winter. Seattle is a place that I have wanted to go to for years now. I am really excited for this trip and can’t wait to see my friend.
I have my plan figured out for the next semester, and I get to make it official here in a few weeks. I am excited for 3 out of 4 of my classes that I want to take next semester. I am excited for American Sign Language 101, Anatomy & Physiology 1, and Allied Health and Nutrition. Whoop Whoop!
