So all of my hair is gone.

So All Of My Hair Is Gone.
Hey, guys, it’s been a while since I have written here, so there are a few things to update y’all on. College updates, Hair updates, life updates, and more we are in for a ride here. A small ride but a ride none the less.
A few weeks ago I finished my college reading class. I really struggled in that class, it really was a hard class it was just so much. This was only an 8week class so we were fitting a whole semester's worth of content in only 8 weeks, this is why I struggled with it so much. We usually learned a new chapter each class session. Each chapter usually had 3-4 sections and each section had 3-4 assignments. This was a lot of information to retain in short periods of time. Overall I feel like I did pretty well, there were definitely people who struggled way more than I did. However I don’t feel like this is an effective way to learn or teach, most of us got very little if anything out of the class. Personally I think the school (All Schools) should get away from this type of program. I ended up getting a “C” in the class and probably would have gotten a “B”, but I didn’t have time to complete the last chapter and my teacher never put in the grade for the chapter before that. Anyhow lesson learned don’t take anymore 8-week classes.
I am currently also taking a college writing class. I was doing really well in this class, most certainly better than I thought I would do. I have a high B right now, but the end of the semester is approaching and I’m starting to get bored, and way less focused than I should be. I have a paper due soon, that I haven’t even begun yet. It’s not even that complicated of a paper, I just can’t bring myself to put in the effort to do it, hopefully, I will gain some motivation this weekend and get it done.
Today I had my first nursing program meeting, where I got information on the process of getting in and the qualifications. I’m really glad I went to this, it was really helpful. I also got to see the skills lab with the manikins which were really nifty, it was nice to see where I will one day be learning.
Back in September I got all of my hair cut off. I had a lot of my own personal reasons for doing this. I mostly did it to support a friend of mine who is unable to grow her hair out long. There really isn’t much of a story here other then it is something that I have wanted to do for quite some time now, and I finally had the means to do it.
Soon after the cut. In September.

In school.
Just over a month after the cut. (October)

Today we made it official, and I finally get to travel to Seattle this winter. Seattle is a place that I have wanted to go to for years now. I am really excited for this trip and can’t wait to see my friend.

I have my plan figured out for the next semester, and I get to make it official here in a few weeks. I am excited for 3 out of 4 of my classes that I want to take next semester. I am excited for American Sign Language 101, Anatomy & Physiology 1, and Allied Health and Nutrition. Whoop Whoop!

Repressed Memories

Some people say that repressed memories are impossible some say they are possible. However for those of us who have experienced something traumatic, but couldn't tell you what it was, all know that they are very possible. For those of us who randomly started remembering stuff years later know that these are real. I am speaking from my personal experience. If you read my last blog then you know that when I was younger I had a teacher who hated me. In that blog I really wasn't planning on even talking about it. It just kind of happened and I decided to keep it in there. You see shortly after writing that I remembered somethings about that year that I didn't remember before. I used to know that I had a best friend, I knew her name, and I remember that she had a blue crayon that no one could use because it was her special blue, I remembered my teachers name and face. I remembered that she hated me. I remembered a time about my experience with the back thing. I remembered the fact that there were very few white people in that school. That's really all I needed to remember. Then as I was writing I remembered more about that year. Then as I was writing an assignment for my college writing class, so many more memories came to me, they just all poured into me at once. I kind of had a mental break down, well really I'm still having one but it's not as bad. I confirmed some of the details with someone who knew me that year. I'm glad I didn't remember as a child, but I'm glad I did remember, I can move on with my life so many things can change now, I think I can become the hard worker that I used to be before all of the horrible things happened to me. I did want to let you know that the teacher did get fired, and that she isn't teaching and hasn't for years. Well by doll faces I'll talk to you in the future.

The Education System is Broken.

The Education System is Broken.
The educations system in America failed me. So let’s back up and give a little back round about my education. I went to school An in Pre-School where I had an amazing teacher an excelled greatly. In Kindergarten I moved to a different state where I attended School B, I had a pretty good teacher and teacher’s aid. Then there is 1st grade (School C), where I moved again to a different school in the same state as School B. This time however I had a horrible teacher, her name was Ms. Royal. This school was a different experience, I was a white girl living in a black world, the school I went to was your typical “black school” There were 4 white people that I ever remember in that school the entire year that I was there. One of the ways my best friend that year, another was Ms.Royal. Ms.Royal was a horrible teacher I mean very really horrible. She hated me and had no problem admitting that she hated me, she had no problem telling us that she hated us (Me and my friend) I’m pretty sure she was racist against her own race, which I mean makes since she was living in a black world. I didn’t learn anything that year no matter how hard I tried to, and this Royal Pain didn’t want to teach a little 1st grader, I have her to blame for that, I’m not even going to tell you all the crap I went through that year, but that school was and always will be on her side, that school didn’t give a crap about my education. I almost broke my back that year, and at this very moment I wish I had written the President at the time like we said we were going to, maybe things would of turned out better at that really crappy school with that really crappy teacher, and she was a really crappy teacher. The next year I moved again back to my original state my wonderful mother had me put back into the 1st grade (My 2nd year of 1st grade) I actually had a really good teacher that year and I was back in the same district that I went to Pre-School in. This year built me up again. I had a wonderful teacher she was actually very fantastic, I learned a lot that year I am so thankful for that year. Then I moved again, I moved to a small town. In the 2nd grade I met my now best friend KK. This (School D) school was not my greatest but it was nowhere near as bad as School C. I stayed in this school until the 8th grade. I had a really great teacher in the 2nd grade who worked really hard to make me want to learn again, I don’t think she ever actually knew about the things that happened to me in school C. I stopped exceling after school B, I’m still to this day traumatized by some of the things that happened that year and not many people know a whole lot about what happened. In 3rd grade I had a really good teacher and began my love for Science. In the 4th grade I had a pretty decent teacher, I didn’t learn everything that I should have that year, but I think that was because so many of us in that class worked at a slower pace, so in a way I’m kind of glade, because what I did learn I learned very well and was able to master it. Then I started Middle School, My middle school years were the 2nd worse years of my school life, it didn’t measure up to what happened in my 1st year of 1st grade but they weren’t great either. Teacher stopped caring about how you learned and how you didn’t, what worked and what didn’t. I still had alright teachers, but this is when my already failed education started to fail me even more. In elementary school my teachers worked hard to teach me, to make sure I actually learned something. In middle school that kind of goes away, I mean yeah they help but nothing like they should. In the 5th grade I did really poorly, part of that was because of all the social bull crap I had to deal with and part of it was because I stopped caring in the 1st grade when school was more like a torture chamber then it was a school. I didn’t learn a single thing in my English classes because my teacher didn’t give a crap, everything I did to make things easier so that I could hear or see better she just made a way for me to be even more criticized by people who already sucked, she cared more about getting through a unit then she did what we were learning or if we could her stupid writing. Although I actually learned a lot in my social studies class I actually did poorly academically. Science was still my favorite I don’t remember if I did well or not but I definitely liked it. In 6th grade I had 2 really good teachers, I did poorly in my Social Studies, I never really did well in Social Studies, I never really liked it. The hands on work we did for Science was absolutely fascinating. I read a really good book called Killing Mr. Griffen” We had to write a report on that book. Everything had to be perfect. We learned a lot of grammar in 6th grade. In 7th grade I had a very memorable Science teacher. I could go on and on about that, but for the sake of time. English was about reading for the most part or at least that’s all I remember I think I may have actually written more in my Reading class then I did in my English class. I had the same teacher for History in 7th and 8th grade (He was also my Track coach in 7th grade)  I learned stuff in those classes both years kind of blend together, They weren’t my best classes but they were my worst I just never really got into history much. I was pretty good at math, my P.E. teacher 6th-8th grade was amazing he also was my cross country coach. I was still able to have fun even though my vision made me suck at anything that involved catching or throwing something. Honestly I’m glad he was my teacher and coach, I don’t know if he knows it or not but his classes having his upbeat personality as my coach and teacher made middle school suck a whole lot less. In the 8th grade I hated English I was so sick of grammar and I really hated reading because my vision made it hard when you can’t find the next line it sucks. I was in cheerleading in 7th grade it was fun but also caused social problems. Honestly middle school just sucked because of the very crappy people that lived in that town and went to school with me, but those sort of things do actually get in the way of education it gets in the way of any chance you have at all of actually wanting to learn, I will say I had the most amazing Pre-Algebra teacher in 8th grade, and I had a pretty great group of friends (4) Then I moved to a town in southern MO for that summer, for the next academic year I moved to school E This is what up until recently I thought was the best school ever. I had great teachers, and great peers, I made a really great bunch of friends, and I was socially active. I did really well academically. I fell in love and back out of love for the 1st time. The 2 years I was in school E, were some of my happiest years ever. However English was all about grammar and reading. Everything we wrote was about implicating our grammar skills. Then my Jr. Year I moved back to that southern MO town and went to school F. I had great math teachers, a great American History teacher, and a Fantastic Biology teacher where I actually fell in love with Biology. A great band program, a good FCCLA group. The administration in this school sucked they were literally the worst administration I had ever dealt with, like worse than School B’s administration, just in a different way. I had a good English and reading teacher that year but I didn’t actually learn a single thing in English not one single thing. Then my Sr. Year I moved to School G where I was introduced to block scheduling. I was in Chemistry which I had a fantastic teacher for, but began to question my love for science, chemistry is definitely not my best science, although I’m glad I was forced to take it, so now I’m a little bit better off for when I take College Chemistry. We mostly read in English I mean yeah we had to write reports and stuff but there was really no point to those. I was really lazy in personal finance so we are just going to skip that topic. I learned a lot in Psychology I didn’t really prove it very well with my grades but that’s because I suck at tests and test like things but I actually learned a phenomenal amount in that class. I also took speech which I will forever be grateful I took. If you notice, I talked a lot about English classes that is because it was in college writing at my current college that I realized I had been cheated of an adequate education. All through high school I was taught grammar, and spelling, I was taught that papers I turned in needed to be good, I remember even drafts being graded on grammar. Writing was about perfection. I was reading my text book and went “holy crap are you kidding me it’s aloud to be messy.” There is a lot I should have been taught in high school. I am now restarting all of my English knowledge in college, I’m starting from scratch, and while that’s good for me so that I will actually learn it, it still really, really, really sucks that I didn’t get to start learning what I should already know until high school. Rather I didn’t learn it because it was never taught in high school, or because I just missed by going to 3 high schools, and each school having a different curriculum. I now know one thing I didn’t learn that I should of, I’m excited to learn what else there was, but I also have to wonder what other subjects did I miss out on. The special education system is also broken, I’ve seen too many people including myself be screwed over by it. That’s a blog for another time.

A scared perspective of the fourth.

A scared perspective of the fourth.
I am literally terrified of the 4th of July (American Independence Day) and why.

Growing up I was always forced to go to 4th of July parties get together, barbecues, and vacations.
Really I was never forced because we all usually forgot of my fear until it was to late. It's not the actual holiday that I am afraid of it's what goes on during the Holiday that I am scared of (Fireworks)
Now let me start off by saying that it's not the sound that scares me but the sight, yes the sight of fireworks scares me. I am going to explain the reason for my fear that I have had ever since my first July.
I was born Visually Impaired, I am almost completely blind in my right eye. This means that I severally like depth perception, now today in my life other then fireworks it really doesn't bother me too much because I'm just used to it. When I was 2 I had 2 eye surgery's that helped with muscle coordination in my eyes.   My vision sucks it really does and it's really hard to explain to other people in fact I don't think anyone but me understands my vision completely. But because of my lack of depth when I watch fireworks no matter how close or far away, to me it looks like they are right in front of me and falling directly on me. The fact that fire is getting ready to fall on your face is not a fun idea, and the fact that I'm also light sensitive due to my vision also puts me in a very uncomfortable position when they are close to my face. So even if I was afraid of the fire falling on me I still don't think I could enjoy fireworks. I remember one summer we went on vacation to the lake and my sister and cousin went down to the beach and watched fireworks, as I hid in the room playing Atari loudly. There were also times in my life that I somehow ended up at fireworks shows, I always found a way to cover up my face so I wouldn't see them, I remember one time taking the blanket that I was supposed to be laying on and covering up, because of how terrified of the pretty fire I was, and you can't really explain to a 4 year old that it's not that close when they don't understand the term depth perception. when I was in about the first or second grade my uncle died in a car crash on July 5th while I was a 4th of July party, even though I had nothing to do with the accident, I blamed myself for several years, I didn't even like fireworks but I was enjoying myself at a party while he was dying. So for years and years after that the Holiday I already hated the most became the worst day of the year. In a way that kind of helped me though because it gave me a way to not have to deal with fireworks as much, I was able to hide in my room wish my uncle was around and not have to deal with the scariest event ever. I eventually got over the fact that my uncle was gone and accepted that it wasn't my fault, I still hid in my house on the night of the fourth, there were times that I tried to go have fun and enjoy fireworks with friends but it never really happened. One year when I was in High School and my sister was in college she took me to go see some we sat towards the back, and while I didn't really care for the fireworks I didn't show my fear/anxiety as much, that is the only firework memory I have that wasn't horrible, it helped that by this time I understood why I was so afraid of something that no one else seemed to be afraid of. The next year I had a job at a summer camp that fireworks weren't allowed at for 3 years I didn't have to worry about my fear because I just decided not to leave camp grounds at night. I had actually forgot exactly how terrified I was of fireworks because I didn't have to deal with them, this summer however I was unable to be at camp on the fourth or the days around it, on July 2 I found out how horribly terrified of fireworks I am this year for the 4th I spent my ENTIRE day hiding in the middle of my basement, I went to the one room that didn't have any windows, watched Netflix and only left to go to the bathroom, other then that I was hidden in my basement a friend of mine invited me on a date and I passed it up to hide in my basement. The fourth of July is the only time that I ever wish I wasn't VI, I normally like the way God made me, I don't normally mind that I'm Autistic, VI, or that I have anxiety sometimes. But the fourth takes my life away from me, I often find myself wishing I could enjoy what everyone else is able to enjoy. I really hate the fourth, I hate fireworks, but most of all I hate that I hate fireworks.

Next year my sister is getting married on the 2nd and I'm kind of afraid that I won't have a place to hide, So I need to find a way to not show my anxiety kind of like I did that one time that she took me but better.

Why changes don't last 6/17/2015

Why Changes Don't Last: How to make them last.

Have you ever left home for a while, and changed while you were gone? Any kind of change? The things that happen to us in our lives help shape who we are, our environments effect us more then we care to notice. That's why different parts of the USA have different forms of normal. Your accent is your accent because of the accents of the kids you grew up with. The food you like is normal to you, but may look super weird to someone from a different region. For example in the South they eat Gumbo with Gator in it. In the North most people don't know what Gumbo is and would think a 100 times before even considering eating something with Alligator in it. That is because everything that is in our environment effects us in some shape or form.
Earlier I asked you if you had ever left home, and come back changed. If you answered yes, then my next question for you to think about is did that change last very long, was it hard to stay the person that you were while you were gone? For most people who change and them come back to where they were before have a hard time keeping their changes. This is not because the new changed person isn't who they really are, but because their change is not supported by their home environment. The people at home may be okay with the change but they don't usually fully support it. The family and friends usually continue on the same way they did before you left. They don't take time to help you keep your changes, This may not be because they do not support the change but because they didn't have that change They didn't leave and they weren't with you. If you really want to keep your change when you go home You are going to have to work very hard at it, you are going to have to say no to things you used to say yes to and you are going to have to say yes to things that you would have used to say no to. You will probably have to explain to friends, family, and neighbors that you aren't the same way that you used to be. You may even have to explain why. Simply because honestly they aren't going to get it, they weren't there.
Have you ever had someone in your life leave with the purpose of changing, and then when they got home it seemed like they hadn't changed, or the change didn't last long? This most likely happened because their environment didn't support the change, It doesn't mean that you didn't support them, just that things happening or things people did weren't helping the change. If you want your friends and family to come home changed and stay changed you may have to do things to help them make that and keep that change. For example if someone left because they had an alcohol problem, then drinking around them is not a good choice it's not supporting them, If you still want to drink but know it's best for them not too then drink elsewhere and unless they ask you to don't talk to them about how you went out drinking. It's a lot easier to stay sober when everyone around you is sober too. This applies to almost every change. In most cases the full environmental support may not always be necessary once they get used to the environment and their new lifestyle. But will be needed for a change to take full affect for quite some time. You can't send someone to rehab and expect them to come back and never do drugs again if you or your friends are doing drugs in the living room. People can change it is possible, but in order to keep the change it needs to be supported fully.

Baltimore

What is happening in Baltimore?
Well a kid named Freddie Gray died a while back, from what I understand in some kind of police altercation. After his funeral kids were released from school, and started to riot. They are basically acting like they are from Ferguson. Throwing  things at police and burning random buildings. They are mostly doing it for attention. So how about we just stop giving them the attention. It's one thing to talk about it, but it's another to let them win with the attention. Let's focus on the good people helping their city, from clean up to protection. A 14 year old girl standing out there standing for the good and for the safety of her community, or to the mother that we all know about about the woman smacking her son around and now keeping him in. That right there is a fantastic mother, and I'm glade that there is finally a parent who is acting like a parent and not afraid to be a good parent that's what we should be showing. If you are the one "protesting" I have one thing to tell you, burning down buildings, hurting other people, vandalizing, cutting firemen tools that firemen use to clean up your mess, is not any way to get what you want. You say your fighting for justice of life but really all your doing is hurting people some of which are your own people. You really want to make a point then then make a real point. Go in file complaints, get on YouTube tell your story, get people to understand your thoughts and feelings. The people you are hurting isn't even the people that you're trying to make your point to. Make a real point not just use another persons death as your excuse to be a lawbreaking, violent, foolish, no good hooligan. Go make something of your self, you are not fighting for the better at this point now you are just making excuses to be cowardly mean people. Do half of you even know what the actual cause of this. You can "fight for justice" without being a hooligan.

Life Style Choices

Here are some things that I have found in the Bible about how the decisions/choices you make effect your life style.

Galatians 2:20
King James Version (KJV)

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 5:16-17King James Version (KJV)

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 6:10King James Version (KJV)

10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

James 1:21-25King James Version (KJV)

21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 3:13King James Version (KJV)

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

Why I am a KJV believer.

KJV Only

February 22, 2015 at 5:31pm
NIV 36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?”[37] [c] 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. 39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. 40 Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the townsuntil he reached Caesarea. Acts 8

KJV 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea. Acts 8

ESV 36 And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?”[e]38 And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. 39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he preached the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.

2 Timothy 3:3New International Version (NIV)

3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,

2 Timothy 3:3King James Version (KJV)

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2 Timothy 4:2-3King James Version (KJV)

2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

1 Timothy 6:3-5King James Version (KJV)

3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

ESV 25 He answered and said, “But I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”Daniel 3

Daniel 3:25New International Version (NIV)

25 He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like son of the gods.”

Daniel 3:25King James Version (KJV)

25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Genesis 1:1-2The Message (MSG)

1 1-2 First this: God created the Heavens and Earth—all you see, all you don’t see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God’s Spiritbrooded like a bird above the watery abyss.

King James Version (KJV)

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Daniel 3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

Daniel 3 English Standard Version (ESV)
Nebuchadnezzar's Golden Image
3 King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits[a] and its breadth six cubits. He set it up on the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 2 Then King Nebuchadnezzar sent to gather the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces to come to the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 3 Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 And the herald proclaimed aloud, “You are commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages, 5 that when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, you are to fall down and worship the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up. 6 And whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace.” 7 Therefore, as soon as all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, all the peoples, nations, and languages fell down and worshiped the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
The Fiery Furnace
8 Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came forward and maliciously accused the Jews. 9 They declared[b] to King Nebuchadnezzar, “O king, live forever! 10 You, O king, have made a decree, that every man who hears the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image. 11 And whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast into a burning fiery furnace. 12 There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon:Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, pay no attention to you; they do not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in furious rage commanded that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought. So they brought these men before the king.14 Nebuchadnezzar answered and said to them, “Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the golden image that I have set up? 15 Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, well and good.[c] But if you do not worship, you shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace. Andwho is the god who will deliver you out of my hands?”
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If this be so,our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.[d] 18 But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”
19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with fury, and the expression of his face was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He ordered the furnace heated seven times more than it was usually heated. 20 And he ordered some of the mighty men of his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their cloaks, their tunics,[e] their hats, and their other garments, and they were thrown into the burning fiery furnace. 22 Because the king's order was urgent and the furnace overheated, the flame of the fire killed those men who took upShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell bound into the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste. He declared to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” 25 He answered and said, “But I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the burning fiery furnace; he declared, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out from the fire. 27 And the satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king's counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had not had any power over the bodies of those men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their cloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them. 28 Nebuchadnezzar answered and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, and set aside[f] the king's command, and yielded up their bodies rather than serve and worship any god except their own God. 29 Therefore I make a decree: Anypeople, nation, or language that speaks anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be torn limb from limb, and their houses laid in ruins, for there is no other god who is able to rescue in this way.” 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.

Mark 15:27-30The Message (MSG)

25-30 They nailed him up at nine o’clock in the morning. The charge against him—the king of the jews—was printed on a poster. Along with him, they crucified two criminals, one to his right, the other to his left. People passing along the road jeered, shaking their heads in mock lament: “You bragged that you could tear down the Temple and then rebuild it in three days—so show us your stuff! Save yourself! If you’re really God’s Son, come down from that cross!”

2 Corinthians 2:17The Message (MSG)

16-17 This is a terrific responsibility. Is anyone competent to take it on? No—but at least we don’t take God’s Word, water it down, and then take it to the streets to sell it cheap. We stand in Christ’s presence when we speak; God looks us in the face. We get what we say straight from God and say it as honestly as we can.

2 Corinthians 2:17King James Version (KJV)

17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:17New King James Version (NKJV)

17 For we are not, as so many,[apeddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:17New International Version (NIV)

17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.

2 Corinthians 2:17English Standard Version (ESV)

17 For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:17Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

17 Certainly not those who are out there selling God’s message for a profit! But we don’t do that. With Christ’s help we speak God’s truth honestly, knowing that we must answer to him.

Mark 11:25-27King James Version (KJV)

25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Easter

Easter is my favorite Holiday. It is my favorite holiday because it celebrates the most important part that makes my Salvation so real. Easter is the celebration of Jesus' resurrection, the day He arose from the dead. So it only makes since that while I was shopping today I decided to go down the Easter aisle. I went up and down down that thing trying to find the "Easter section."   By golly gratuitous I was really taken back by the fact that there was only one item in that entire aisle both sides that had anything to do with the true meaning of Easter. That item was a chocolate fish yes A FISH with the name JESUS written in it.  Nothing cross related, or bible related or He is risen related, nothing but a chocolate fish that said JESUS. everything else was rabbits, and eggs, and flowers, and carrots, and more rabbits.
Now don't get me wrong I understand that those things are there to represent life although I never really understood the rabbits that laid eggs full of candy but whatever. However I see that we have forgotten whose life it is that we are actually celebrating. Bunnies do NOT equal Easter, Jesus DOES.  I even heard that some kids get Easter presentS  not just an Easter basket but multiple presents that they unwrap as if it's their birthday or something. Please let's learn the real meaning of Easter and what Jesus did for us and not just oh hey it's spring now have some candy. Let's bring back Christ to Easter!

Matthew 26-28 King James Version (KJV)

26 :1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,

2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

3 Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,

4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.

5 But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,

7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

8 But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.

10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.

11 For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.

12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.

14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,

15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?

18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

20 Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.

21 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

22 And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?

23 And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.

24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

32 But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.

33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.

34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.

47 And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.

49 And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.

50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took him.

51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.

52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and ye laid no hold on me.

56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

57 And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

58 But Peter followed him afar off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.

59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

60 But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,

61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

62 And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

63 But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.

64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

66 What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

68 Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?

69 Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.

70 But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.

71 And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.

72 And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.

73 And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.

74 Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

27:1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

2 And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.

7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.

8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.

9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;

10 And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.

11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.

12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?

14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.

15 Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.

16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.

17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?

18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.

19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.

28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.

29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.

32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,

34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

36 And sitting down they watched him there;

37 And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.

38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.

39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,

40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,

42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.

45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.

48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.

49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.

50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:

56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children.

57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:

58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.

59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.

62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.

66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

28 :1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
